Hoyt Custom Fine Art: Ever since I can remember I've had a fascination with visual arts; my hands were always clasping crayons, paintbrushes and pastels. Exhausting high school art classes I pursued a Fine Arts Studio Art Degree from UC Irvine. My Post Graduate studies were at Art Center in Pasadena resulting in a career in Graphic Design with an emphasis in Art Direction. A few years after working in the corporate environment, I opened Hoyt Design Studio and have been in business for many years. Although I engage in the world of graphics and advertising, my true passion has always been in oil and acrylic plein air painting. Enjoying painting excursions and tutorials and exploring new techniques and ideas with my friends and colleagues I am always amazed at the expansive creativity of the mind and I am always learning. Although much of my commissioned work is within the plein air genre, other works of art are tailored to meet the specific the needs of the client and vary in style.
